TAP has launched its pre-qualification process for onshore line pipes and bends. The scope for this contract has been divided into six lots which will be delivered to marshalling yards in Kavala and Thessaloniki in Greece and Durres in Albania.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) announces the closure of the binding Booking Phase that had been launched in March this year and, thereby, the completion of the Market Test. As a result of this Market Test, additional capacity will be provided at TAP’s entry point at the Turkey-Greece border and additional exit points will become available along the route.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) has issued the first major Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the construction of the onshore section of the pipeline. This is an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contract, which may be split into further contracts, depending on the offering bids.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) announced today that Enagás has joined the project as a new shareholder with a 16% stake in the company. In addition, existing shareholder Fluxys has increased its stake in TAP from 16% to 19%.

Athens, Greece. Greece’s Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) has granted Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) a license for an Independent Natural Gas System (INGS). The license, granted by the authority on the 5 September 2014, refers to the Greek section of the project. The term of the license is 50 years.

Greece’s Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change gave formal approval and signed the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) submitted by Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) for the Greek section of the pipeline, concluding another major milestone for the project.
