09 December 2014

On 9 December 2014, Kjetil Tungland, Managing Director, TAP, spoke in Brussels at an event titled Southern Gas Corridor: Paving the Way to Europe's Energy Security. The exchange was organised under the auspices of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Keynote speeches were delivered by Claudio de Vincenti, Italian Vice-Minister for Economic Development and Maroš Šefčovič, European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union.

With the Southern Gas Corridor one of the most complex value chains ever developed in the world, this project will contribute to a resilient Energy Union, by paving the way for a new source of gas to supply Europe for decades to come.
