TAP conducts its 2019 Market Test under the rules and procedures specified in the “Guidelines for the 2019 Market Test of Trans Adriatic Pipeline” (link), approved by the National Regulatory Authorities of Greece, Italy and Albania.
The Market Test process is an open, transparent and non-discriminatory procedure, enabling the access of third parties to TAP’s transportation system.
TAP’s Market Test is structured in 2 (two) main phases:
- Non-binding phase: starting 1 July 2019.
- Binding phase:
- Information phase expected to start in Q2 2021.
- Binding bidding phase to be opened in July 2021.
TAP invites stakeholders and interested parties to express their interest in participating to the non-binding phase of the Market Test by submitting the documentation required at the e-mail address email@example.com, as indicated below:

On 20 January TAP, SRG and DESFA opened the public consultation of the draft Project Proposal, in accordance with the provisions of Article 27 CAM NC and with the Guidelines for the 2019 Market Test of Trans Adriatic Pipeline. The document “Joint Public Consultation of the draft Project Proposal” is available below.
The joint public consultation lasts until 21 February 2020 (23:59 CET).
