Several Ambassadors Visit Albania TAP Site
Five months after marking the start of construction of TAP in Albania, on 7 March, eleven Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives resident in Albania visited the TAP project works currently underway in Ura Vajgurore, in the Berat region. Marine Survey in the Adriatic Sea to Verify Offshore Route for TAP
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline project is planning a seabed survey in the Adriatic Sea to start on the 26th of January to verify the route for the underwater section of the new gas pipeline. The offshore pipeline will have a diameter of 1.05 meter and a length of approximately 115 kilometres.

The second is for the supply and delivery of approximately 1,550 kilometres fibre optic cable.

TAP has awarded a contract to Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH for the supply of approximately 110km 36-inch offshore line pipes to be used in the 105 km section of the project across the Adriatic Sea, between the coastlines of Albania and southern Italy.
