How to become a TAP shipper?
The first step to becoming a Trans Adriatic Pipeline shipper is to apply to become a registered party.
Only registered parties may book capacity with TAP.
Becoming a TAP shipper
To register with TAP, an applicant must, via the Registration Portal:
- submit a registration form and the required supporting documentation, including but not limited to a confidentiality agreement, Initial Onboarding Form, and evidence of creditworthiness and
- pay the registration fee.
Once an applicant meets all the necessary requirements, including creditworthiness, as set out in the TAP Network Code, a communication test is performed and TAP provides a confirmation of the registration. Once the applicant is confirmed by TAP as a registered party, the full legal name of the registered party will be made publicly available in TAP’s registry of users (access here), as required by the relevant laws. From this moment on the registered parties will be able to participate in auctions to book transportation capacity and trade on the secondary market. A registered party becomes a shipper once capacity has been booked.
To book capacity products with TAP, registered parties must also register on the PRISMA platform.
