Business continuity
TAP makes every effort to ensure minimum disruption to its operations, and the delivery of services upon which its customers rely.
Disruptive events may occur unexpectedly. To ensure uninterrupted transportation of natural gas to Europe, TAP has developed a robust Business Continuity Management Programme (BCMP).
TAP’s BCMP is a well-defined management practice that identifies potential threats to the company's critical processes, assesses their potential impact on business operations, while providing a framework for the asset’s resilience and the capability for an effective response that safeguards the interests of its key stakeholders, reputation, and value-creating activities. The process creates a framework for building organizational resilience, enabling an effective response to preserve the interests of TAP's people and interested parties, safeguard the asset, and ensure environmental protection, while safeguarding the Company’s reputation.
