A central part of the TAP governance and QHSE MS are the principles of avoiding and minimising ESCH impacts and the implementation of mitigation, management and rehabilitation processes. These principles integrate sustainability into our business and are the foundation to our operations and the ESCH management processes.
Our ISO 14001 certified ESCH management system is aligned with relevant national and international standards, permit conditions and polices of the project finance lender institutions. It provides a comprehensive framework of controls and performance monitoring, to integrate ESCH standards into all our operations.
ESCH performance management is based on a dynamic process of assessment, activity planning, management, mitigation and monitoring, using the ISO 14001 management system framework of:
- planning
- implementation
- checking/corrective actions
- management review.
