The renovation of the “7 Dëshmorët” School, an investment of Euro 567,000, is part of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline’s Social and Environmental Investments in Albania. The works comprised the complete renovation of the building, equipment of the classrooms with the necessary academic materials, and the improvement of the school grounds.
TAP Awards Contract to Salzgitter Mannesmann International for Onshore Line Pipe and Bends
TAP has awarded a contract to Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH for approximately 270km of the onshore 48” line pipe, as well as the bends TAP requires for both onshore (48”) and offshore (36”) use. Salzgitter Mannesmann International will provide 48” line pipes and bends for the onshore sections of TAP in Albania, Greece and Italy.

Reforestation in Northern Greece with 400.000 trees & shrubs | Full replacement and reinstatement of the forest area used
ΤΑΡ AG will plant ca. 400,000 trees and shrubs, in the context of its reforestation initiative already taking place across the three Northern Greek regions crossed by the pipeline. This includes poplar (ca. 18,700 items); black, Scots and Calabrian pine (210,000, 13,400 and 56,000 items, respectively); cypress (18,000), as well as approximately 75,000 broad-leaved and 7,400 oleander shrubs.
TAP Builds New Kindergarten and Renovates 7th School in Albania

On 14 April 2019, TAP, the Municipality of Korça and the Italian-Albanian Debt for Development Swap Program (IADSA) inaugurated a new market hall in Korça, “Markata e Shijes” (in English, the “market of taste”). Over 25,000 Students Attended TAP’s Road Safety Seminars
Greece. The Road Safety Seminars programme, an initiative sponsored by the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP AG) since May 2016, has been successfully concluded. The seminars were delivered by 36 competent instructors and were overall attended by more than 25,000 children and teenagers and 56 educators from 142 elementary schools and 60 high-schools in 66 and 31 communities, respectively.
