IEMG Terms of Reference
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has established Independent External Monitoring Groups (IEMGs) to provide advice, external accountability and assurance of the TAP Project’s social, environmental, cultural heritage, community health and safety and workforce management in Greece, Albania and Italy. Separate IEMG’s will be formed in Albania, Greece and Italy; these terms of reference apply to each of the three IEMGs. The groups were established in the fourth quarter of 2019 and will undertake fields visit by the end of 2022 with the executive summaries of the reports uploaded onto the TAP website.
