10th Stakeholder Forum marks first hybrid edition at TAP’s Athens hub
Held in a hybrid format for the first time, the forum brought TAP’s shippers together with the Commercial team for direct exchanges and updates on key operational and regulatory developments.
On 5 May 2025, TAP successfully held its 10th Stakeholder Forum, marking the first hybrid format of this bi-annual event organised by the Commercial team.
Hosted at TAP’s Athens hub and streamed online, the event gave shippers the opportunity to connect directly with the Company representatives and visit one of our key offices. Since the start of commercial operations, all previous forums were held exclusively online—making this milestone edition a significant step forward in stakeholder engagement.
Marija Savova, Head of Commercial, opened the forum remotely, while Yngve Torvanger, Tariff Manager, moderated the event from Athens office. Angelo Mele and Alessandro Nuzzo, Transportation Services Commercial Specialists, travelled to Greece to present and meet with shippers in person. Jose de la Torre Gallegos, Senior Manager QHSE, Land, Permitting and Stakeholder Management, also delivered a presentation on the Methane Emissions Regulation and its potential impact on TAP and our shippers. Giuseppe Caterina, Transportation Services Commercial Specialist, presented a section on recent changes to the PRISMA Capacity Booking Platform, focusing on the auction mechanism and the Uniform Price Algorithm, and their implications for TAP shippers, who will benefit from increased transparency and more accurate market information.
Key topics included updates on pipeline utilisation and redistribution, upcoming revisions to the TAP Network Code, market test developments, new gas quality parameters, methane emissions regulation, and the results of the latest customer satisfaction survey.
Luca Schieppati, TAP’s Managing Director, joined the event remotely, reaffirming the Company’s strong focus on customer engagement and the strategic value of regular dialogue with our shippers.
The Stakeholder Forum continues to be an important platform for ensuring transparency and open dialogue with TAP’s commercial partners.
