120 People Enrol in TAP Academy
TAP offers another round of free English, IT & social media marketing courses for people in Lecce. The initiative, TAP Academy, is part of TAP’s €12 million SEI programme in Italy.
Following the success of the first round of free courses in English and IT / computer science, organised in April 2017, TAP broadened the scope to include social media marketing, a key element in helping local businesses elevate their audience and customer base.
The IT / computer science courses comprise basic and advanced modules and prepare participants for the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) exams. The English courses are split into basic English as well as English for the tourism industry (intermediate level) and are provided by the language school Oxford Group Lecce.
Groups include maximum 12 participants and started in October 2017. Those interested in signing up can contact TAP’s Infopoint in Melendugno.
TAP continues to implement tailored SEI projects in the Puglia Region which focus on:
- Livelihoods, with an emphasis on the tourism, agriculture and fisheries
- Environmental management, with an emphasis on issues linked to tourism, agriculture and the marine environment;
- Community quality of life, with an emphasis on services and infrastructure
