A brand-new day for the children of Roksovec Kindergarten Nr. 1

As part of its Social and Environmental Investment Program, TAP reconstructed the Kindergarten Nr. 1 in Roskovec.

The kindergarten opened its doors for children on May 11. Roskovec Mayor, TAP Country Manager, educators and parents joined the kindergarten children to celebrate the school’s opening.

The 56 children of the Kindergarten No1. in Roskovec will now enjoy a school with fully reconstructed spaces complying with all the safety standards applied by TAP.

Two floors, of 367 m² internal space and the outdoors recreational areas of a total surface of 966 m² have been fully renovated thanks to TAP.

The works included, amongst other things. installation of: new roof, windows and doors, toilets, pavement, air conditioning, fire extinguishers and plumbing and electrical equipment as well as thermo insulation on the façade, plastering, painting and the development of the outdoors recreative areas. 

This reconstruction was made possible thanks to the close collaboration with the Municipality of Roskovec, which was responsible for the design, to monitor the implementation of the works performed, supervision and commissioning of the project..

Thanks to this project, the Roskovec kindergarten No.1 which today hosts 56 children, will be able to accommodate 100 children.

Besides the reconstruction of the Kindergarten Nr. 1, TAP has reconstructed the secondary school “7 deshmoret” in Strume, and supported the Roskovec’s firefighting service with a new vehicle, contributing to the improvement of livelihood in the area.

Even though our Social Environment Investment Program is towards completion, TAP remains committed to improve the livelihoods of the local communities along the pipeline route, by sharing expertise and coordinating with the central and local authorities.
