Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, TAP has decided to accept scanned electronic copies of documents, duly signed by the authorised signatory(ies), as required for registration. Hard copies of the original duly signed documents shall be submitted and exchanged when the situation permits or as otherwise required by TAP.
With regard to the confidentiality agreement, this document must be signed and executed as part of the registration process. TAP therefore requests that interested parties comply with the following:
1. Please arrange for an authorised signatory (with the authority to bind the company) to sign the confidentiality agreement. The confidentiality agreement should be left undated.
2. Please submit a scanned copy of the confidentiality agreement (all pages, but undated) to TAP, at commercial@tap-ag.com, together with the following written/e-mail confirmations from the authorised signatory:
- the electronic version of the signed confidentiality agreement is unconditionally released to TAP;
- upon TAP signing a signature page, TAP is permitted to add TAP’s signature page to a print-out of the electronic copy signed by the party and then date and execute the agreement as a single legally binding agreement; and
- no further approvals are required from the party in order for TAP to execute the documents in accordance with the above.
3. TAP will then execute the electronic documents in accordance with the above and send a scanned copy of the executed confidentiality agreement back to the party.

According to the TAP Network Code, the operational communications between TAP and shippers will have as its primary channel the Edig@s messages, the electronic messaging standards developed by EASEE-gas. For this purpose, following the exchange of technical parameters and the configuration of the interface, a technical testing of the connection will take place, as well as a functional testing of predefined Edig@s messages.
The communication test will take place after the receipt of the notification of completeness. -
The authorised representative is typically an individual authorised to represent and act on behalf of the company based on the representation documents, e.g. power of attorney, mandate, etc.
The company legal representative typically implies someone authorised to represent and act on behalf of the company based on their managerial position in the company, e.g. the Director, CEO, etc.
In line with these descriptions, the authorised representative that should be indicated in section 1.3 of the registration form and the company legal representative included in section 1.8 of the registration form might be the same person.
