TAP Delivers Fire Extinguishers and Fire-retardant Uniforms to the Albanian Authorities

In a ceremony organised on 29 August 2017 at the Ministry of Interior, TAP delivered 600 personal backpack fire extinguishers and 100 fire-retardant uniforms to the Albanian authorities. This equipment will enable emergency services to cope with wildfire situations across the country. In a second stage, will provide fire engines and ambulances which can access mountainous areas.

TAP Completes First Phase of Access Roads and Bridges Rehabilitation in Albania

At the end of 2016, TAP completed the first phase of road infrastructure rehabilitation in Albania, comprising the upgrade of approximately 58km of access roads, construction of two new bridges and refurbishment of 40 bridges. Works lasted one year and a half and were conducted by the joint venture formed by Gener 2 Sh.p.K and Sicilsaldo S.p.A.

Over 25,000 Students Attended TAP’s Road Safety Seminars

Greece. The Road Safety Seminars programme, an initiative sponsored by the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP AG) since May 2016, has been successfully concluded. The seminars were delivered by 36 competent instructors and were overall attended by more than 25,000 children and teenagers and 56 educators from 142 elementary schools and 60 high-schools in 66 and 31 communities, respectively.
