Environment and safety are at the heart of the TAP project. In March 2018, TAP joined the Tirana Municipality’s tree planting campaign by providing 1,000 Cypress trees for the capital’s Artificial Lake Park. The investment amounts to €50,000. The first trees were planted by TAP employees and the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

TAP: strong support to the project

Following the recent statements by the Committees opposing to the project, related to Prime Minister Enrico Letta’s participation to the TV talk show “8 e Mezzo” on national channel LA7, TAP respects the opinion expressed by all citizens but, at the same time, wants to confirm its firm support to the ongoing project.

Panoramic Platforms Over Osumi Canyon

Visiting the Osumi Canyon, one of Albania’s most beautiful landmarks, was difficult and unsafe. TAP and the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF) partnered to build two modern panoramic platforms, enabling better and safer access for over 15,000 tourists every year. The total investment amounts to €132,000 and approximately 100 people were employed in the process.

TAP Awards Turbo Compressors Contract to Siemens

TAP Completes First Phase of Access Roads and Bridges Rehabilitation in Albania

At the end of 2016, TAP completed the first phase of road infrastructure rehabilitation in Albania, comprising the upgrade of approximately 58km of access roads, construction of two new bridges and refurbishment of 40 bridges.
