TAP Completes First Phase of Access Roads and Bridges Rehabilitation in Albania
At the end of 2016, TAP completed the first phase of road infrastructure rehabilitation in Albania, comprising the upgrade of approximately 58km of access roads, construction of two new bridges and refurbishment of 40 bridges. Works lasted one year and a half and were conducted by the joint venture formed by Gener 2 Sh.p.K and Sicilsaldo S.p.A.

To avoid any impact on the San Foca beach, TAP is building a 1.5km micro-tunnel. This state-of-the-art engineering minimises environmental impact and renders the pipeline invisible.
