TAP strengthens its Italian team Giampaolo Russo appointed as Country Manager
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has today strengthened its team in Italy with the appointment of Giampaolo Russo, who takes position as TAP Italy’s Country Manager, effective 15 October 2012. Paul Pasteris, will continue to work for TAP and to develop the project in Italy.
Equipment to Fight Wildfires

TAP Issues Invitations to Tender for Offshore Line Pipes and Italy Onshore Construction
In June 2015, TAP has issued two new Invitations to Tender (ITT). The first is for 36-inch offshore line pipes to be used in the 105 km section of the project across the Adriatic Sea, between the coastlines of Albania and southern Italy. The second is for the Pipeline Receiving Terminal (PRT) and the installation of onshore pipeline in Italy.
Usage charges
In addition to the tariff, shippers pay usage charges. Usage charges reflect the costs incurred by Trans Adriatic Pipeline in procuring fuel gas, unaccounted for gas and electric power.
Congestion management
Trans Adriatic Pipeline has implemented a range of congestion management procedures (CMP) to ensure that the use of pipeline capacity is maximised and capacity hoarding at interconnection points is prevented.
